For individuals with depression and anxiety, you and I will use helpful techniques to bring relief and understanding to your world. IFS (Internal Family Systems) is the primary Evidence Based Practice that I use for alleviating these difficulties. I find it to be a profoundly transforming method for helping individuals with all kinds of disruptions in their lives, including depression and anxiety. Our work helps you become aware of your many internal parts, which ones are standing in your way, and which ones are protecting you, even which ones are helping you to discover your possibilities. The work is gentle, powerful, and effective at helping you discover yourself. Mindfulness is another powerful tool for learning to control our focus and to direct our focus away from anxiety provoking moments.
